Today I am giving thanks for this beautiful weather!!! Thank you Lord for having mercy upon us today!!!
What a long and nasty winter this has been...am I right???
Today I had no plans other than dropping kids off from school and picking up Dylan. However, on the way to pick up Dylan, I decided I couldn't bear the thought of just returning home and not enjoying the gorgeous weather that I have been longing for and praying would come sooner rather than later.
Thus, leading me to decide we would take advantage of our zoo membership and head to the zoo for an hour or so before nap time.
We had a BLAST!!!

There is just something so nice and relaxing about being able to go to the zoo whenever we like and not feel pressured to do and see everything so we get our money's worth. Aren't zoo memberships fabulous?!?! I am sure we've more than made our investment back with all the little trips we make on days like today.
After about an hour Dylan was actually ready to go home. We had so much fun while we were there, and we were still able to make it home in time for Grant to get a good nap. I am so glad that we will have one more year to go on these fun little afternoon adventures, since Dylan is only doing half day Kindergarten next year. I am doing my best to enjoy every second with these little blessings, for all too soon our time together will be taken over by school, sports, other extra curricular activities, boyfriends/girlfriends <<YIKES>>, and all kinds of other life events. This season of life feels so long some times, but it's really not. Hug your babies and enjoy them while you can!!!!
